CHRISTMAS COMMISSIONS – OPEN

For the most magical time of the year – and also my favorite time, I love Christmas! – I am opening 5 commission spots for collectors who would like a customized painting by me. 

These commissions are specifically intended as Christmas commissions with the goal of having your artwork completed and shipped by the end of November / first week of December so it arrives under your tree on time.

Only 5 spots are available.
Applications close on October 18, 2026 or earlier if all 5 spots are claimed.

Questions for the commission:
1. What kind of artwork do you want? Acrylics on canvas or Yupo paper with ink?
2. What size do you desire for your commission?
3. What do you have in mind for your painting?
Please tell me as much as you can about your idea, inspiration, colors, mood, or anything else you would like me to know.

Before you submit your form, please note:
– These commissions are Christmas commissions only and are planned around a strict end-of-November / early-December shipping schedule.
– I am accepting a maximum of 5 commissions for this Christmas release.
– Applications close on October 18, 2026, or earlier if all 5 commission spots have been claimed.
– A 50% down payment is required once your commission idea has been confirmed. Your commission spot is only secured once the down payment has been received.
– The remaining 50% is due before shipping, after you have approved the final piece.
– I do not use my own blood for commissions.
– Your commission is an original artwork created in my artistic style and visual language. You provide the idea and inspiration, and I will interpret it through my own creative process. A commission does not mean reproducing another artist’s work, an existing artwork, or a reference image exactly.
– Two opportunities for adjustments are included in the commission process.
– The first adjustment opportunity takes place after I show you the initial version/concept of your commission.
– The second adjustment opportunity takes place once the artwork is further developed and I provide you with a preview of the piece.
– These adjustment opportunities are intended for reasonable changes and refinements within the original agreed concept. A completely new concept, major redesign, or extensive changes to the artwork are not included.
– After the second adjustment opportunity and final approval, no major changes can be made. This is necessary to keep the Christmas production and shipping schedule possible.
– Please respond to commission-related emails within 3 calendar days. Delayed responses can affect the production and shipping timeline.
– If I do not receive a response within the required timeframe, I may need to continue with the commission based on the information and approval already provided in order to keep the Christmas deadline.
– Once the final piece has been approved, I will proceed with the final touches, varnishing, drying time, and preparation for shipping. Because varnishing and drying require time, changes cannot be requested during this final stage.
– I aim to have all Christmas commissions ready to ship by the end of November 2026, with the first week of December serving as the latest shipping window.
– If you cancel after paying, the 50% down payment is non-refundable.
– If you do not provide the required information or feedback within the agreed timeframe and this causes the commission to no longer be feasible within the Christmas schedule, I reserve the right to cancel the commission.
– Once shipped, the final product is considered accepted. Please review the photos I provide carefully before I send your painting. See the FAQ for more details.
